What a fun time we had at the Spring Luncheon on April 17th. Jessie Kardys presentation was both fun and informative on the Art of the Gown. Members and guests enjoyed a shopping prior to the luncheon and visiting the Hall of Gowns. We could go on but pictures tell it all.
Tanglewood Garden Club was formed in 1951. The objectives are to stimulate knowledge and love of gardening, to aid in the protection of native trees, plants and birds, to encourage civic planning and to generally improve the quality of life in Tanglewood. As an additional benefit Tanglewood Garden Club strives to create a sense of community by creating neighborhood friendships through various club projects, programs and activities.
Garden Club members are enjoyed a fun trip to Ft. Worth. We lunched at The Bird-which is the oldest building in the city, took a walking tour of historic downtown and had a fabulous dinner at Reata.
