Wine tasting and Food Pairing at our January Meeting

Garden club members were treated to a very different program at our January meeting.  Vice President, Lisa Riney, planned an experience for Garden Club members.  Texas Wine School speaker, Trinet del Valle, took members through food pairings with four selected wines.  Her expertise and Lisa Riney’s incredible food pairings made for a most enjoyable morning.  Foods included cheeses from Houston Dairy Maids, Corn Soup and Mushroom Risotto.  We topped off the day with homemade chocolate.  These treats paired with 2 white wines and two red wines.  Members walked out of the meeting full and happy.
