Dear Tanglewood Garden Club Members,
Summer is winding down and plans for a busy year are in place. The Fall Coffee on September 21 will be our opening event, a much-needed and highly anticipated return to in-person activities. It will be wonderful to see friends again and catch up after another long, hot summer.
Our first regular General Membership Meetings will be held at the Amegy Tower, 1717 West Loop South, Floor 24 at noon on October 19, 2021. As mentioned in a previous note, members attending will be given the option to order and purchase a boxed lunch to have while addressing club business and enjoying the scheduled programs and speakers. It will be imperative that anyone attending the meetings at Amegy reply that she is attending due to continued Covid-19 restrictions and bank security concerns. Our October speakers will address the particular needs and challenges that women face when finding themselves suddenly alone due to loss of a spouse, through death or divorce.
Our November 16th meeting will be held at the Neiman-Marcus store at the Galleria. Vice President Erin Slosburg has organized a wonderful presentation by the Neiman-Marcus Fine Jewelry department. Lunch will be catered by Neiman-Marcus; again, purchasing lunch will be optional, but reservations will be required.
